I am:
– a DC resident
– caveat prone
– self-effacing (and thus ironic as this is, in theory, public)
– other-focused (esp. when intoxicated)
– a worrier (often unnecessarily)
– from the South
– scared of organized groups of people, either being near or joining
– grandmotherly – more in the tissue-up-sleeve-early-to-bed sort of way rather than the nurturing, caring, casserole-fixing way (or bitchy, overbearing, alchoholic way, as the case may be)
– a fan of lists

Yay! Thank you so much for starting a blog. I miss you so. Blogging is such an “other-focused” activity…
The fact that you were inspired to blog by a rat tail that you thought was scoliotic scar tissue is so hilarious! I’m loving it! Please keep writing!
Where are your posts!? I will hound you.
You have always been the most introspective and cutest birthday bud’ I have….love the egg dyeing thing–did I recognize one of those ties??
Hi Bill, I just love reading your blogs. You are so fun to read. Can’t believe you were once the little guy in the back seat conspiring with Jill (you could have been brother and sister you looked so much alike) as to who was going to whose house after Ridgeway Pre School. Ha!
Why, William, I had no idea that this was your blog. I know, I should have checked out the links from facebook earlier, but I am way self absorbed and can not peel myself from all of the great quizzes I find.
Seriously, I am glad I checked this out. I have always been a fan of your wit and I have missed it for many years. This Christmas, if you are in the south, is going to be a good one. Take care and keep up the amazing work my friend.
This is my new favorite blog.

Hello in there— where’s the beef? Post baby, the pressures is on.

Hello! I’m so glad I found your blog! I was the designer for the HRC National Dinner and I worked on the silent auction, some of the stage set and various other areas. But…I wasn’t there for the party so I was super happy to find your beautiful pictures online. I know this is cheeky, but…Would you be willing to share any of them? I’d love to have some event photos to put in my portfolio and yours are sweeeet!
Naomi — fantastic job; the place looked amazing! I’ll send you a private message to discuss photos. Am happy to share.
I’ve commented in a couple places but I just want to say that I really enjoy your blog! Because I’m always curious how total strangers find my blog, I found it following the “introvert” tag. Some of the photos are just incredible. Subscribed and will be eagerly awaiting your next post.
Dan
Thanks, Dan. I’m right there with you; it’s always (well, usually) interesting to know how people find their way in and around the interwebs, where the paths lead. I really appreciate your comments.
